Box 388
Stockton, CA 95201-0388
Re: Quik Stop Market # 125
1580 W. Main Street
Ripon, CA 95366
Dear Mr. McClellon:
Enclosed are 1995 and 1996 product line and mechanical leak detector test results,
and electronic monitoring system certifications for the subject site. Copies are also
being sent to Q.S. # 125.
Please provide a copy of the appropriate county regulations, with dates of
authorization and implementation, that address permitting requirements for non -
release type repairs such as replacement of mechanical leak detectors or interstitial
probes. Quik Stop appreciates your help in clarifying when specifically the restrictive
permit requirements were instituted and if there was provision for making them
retroactive. This information will be helpful in determining if other San Joaquin sites
are in compliance and to keep our maintenance contractors informed.
Our maintenance contractor for this site, Elite IV, has been instructed to contact you
directly to determine what you require for this site to be in compliance. Please note
that leak detector tests and monitoring system certifications have been performed
subsequent to the probe and L.D. replacements. Therefore, the question of proper
function is not at issue.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please call.
