Date: 04/19/2020 Manufacturer training: FFS EVR Phase I systems, 01/31/20 =Y 1 lERA INSPECTION IV(QTES AICD COMMENTS 6r NOTES On site to verify corrosion protection for the 87 product direct bury spill container prior to backfilling.While on site found that the spill container that was approved by EHD, Phil-tite 85101-V was exchange to a 5 Gallon, single Walled, Field Replaceable Spill Container. Called the program coordinator who stated that it was okay for the company to use 5 Gallon,single Walled, Field Replaceable Spill Container.While on site received an email from Ryan Brownlee with the cut sheet for the 5 Gallon, single Walled container.The program coordinator asked me to review the cut sheet on site to check fuel compatibility. The cut sheet states that the spill container is UL listed and CARB approved, it also states that it has a 5 gallon capacity, however that was not verified at this time.Verify that the riser was cover with 2 inch, 20 MIL pipe wrap tape to protect it from corrosion,the rest of the spill container was isolated from backfill to meet corrosion protection verification.This service request is not completed at this time.A verification of a minimum 5 gallon capacity, a one hour hydrostatic test(or equivalent)along with proper drainage, and secondary containment testing on the 87 product tank must be verify in order for the facility to receive 87 product fuel. The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and Safety Code.If a reinspection is required,fees will be assessed at the current hourly rate.
