IVA . SYSTEM START UP <br />KIL <br />After all the wiring is completed following the instructions listed in Section III, and all external <br />connections comply with local electric codes, and have been inspected, the system is ready for <br />the start up test. <br />Turn on the power switch located on the base plate. The green LED will light on each channel <br />PC card to indicate a powered condition. <br />If the Leak Alert system is equipped with liquid sensors, the RED liquid LED located on those <br />channel PC cards that are active might momentarily light up, and then turn off after a few <br />seconds. This is normal operation for the liquid sensor circuit warm up and stabilization. <br />If the Leak Alert system is equipped with vapor sensors, the • i vapor LED located. <br />channel PC cards that are active will light several seconds after = power <br />remain on for a period of time. The length of time will on the idling time for each sensor <br />sor to completely stabilize. <br />Whenever any of the liquid and / or vapor alarm LED on the channel PC card activate, the <br />audio alarm, master relay, and front panel alarm will also activate. The audio alarm can be silenc- <br />ed by turning off the alarm switch located on the front panel. This will silence the audio alarm but <br />leave the alarm light on, and the master relay activated. During initial warm up it is advisable to <br />keep this in mind. <br />F'1F-TFFFPiCUAM <br />Each active channel of the Leak Alert system is equipped with a trimpot for vapor alarm set <br />point adjustment. In addition there are two push button switches mounted on the enclosure <br />front cover panel for the vapor alarm and the liquid alarm functional test. <br />W <br />
