See updated <br />monitoring response plan. <br />• The spill bucket failed tightness test. Immediately have a qualified service technician repair or <br />replace damage spill bucket under a permit from this office. <br />See attached spill bucket test. <br />• This office does not have a designated UST operator statement from the tank owner declaring <br />George Koffel as an accepted designated UST operator. <br />UST operator statement was submitted to you on 8/13/07. <br />• Used absorbent observed inside the generator room; make a hazardous waste determination of <br />the liquid and manage it. <br />Kitty litter removed and coolant spill cleaned up on 7/18/07. <br />• Submit a copy of UST monitoring and response plan. <br />See attached updated UST monitoring and response plan. <br />• This facility is not permitted by this office as a generator of hazardous waste. <br />Per conversation on 8/9/07 with Inspector Yang and EH&S Staff, the site has been determined to be a <br />CESQ generator, and as such, San Joaquin County will issue an invoice towards the end of the year to <br />collect the annual generator fee (no "permit" is issued for CESQ generators per Inspector Yang); we <br />can consider this issue closed. <br />• Fifty-five gallon drums inside the generator room were not labeled and currently hold <br />unknowns. Containers storing hazardous waste shall be properly labeled. <br />Labels were properly placed on 07/18/07. <br />
