r <br />MONITORING SYSTEM RESPONSE PLAN <br />DATE: October 12, 1987 <br />TY <br />FACILITY: Shell Service Station <br />OCT I IqR7 <br />OWNER: Shell Oil CompaU ENVIROMENTAL HEALTH <br />OPERATOR: FERMIT/SERVICES <br />TANK I.D. # <br />The secondary containment system of the underground WASTE OIL storage <br />tank will be continuously monitored by a RONAN X76S elecE-rdnic monitor <br />using liquid sensing probes set to imm—eUiate response time. This <br />electronic monitoring panel is located in the service room near the tank <br />area. <br />The electronic monitor will be tested DAILY by the station operator. In <br />the case of an alarm condition, the -itation operator will immediately <br />contact SHELL OIL COMPANY who will dispatch a qualified maintenance <br />contractor to physical ITinspect the installation and report the cause <br />of the alarm. All tank filling will stop during the period of <br />investigation. <br />If response, clean-up, and resumption of normal operations occurs within <br />8 hours of initial alarm, the incident will be recorded in an on-site <br />log book and no contact will be made with the San Joaquin County <br />Department of Environmental Resources. <br />If the response to the alarm condition cannot be rectified within 8 <br />hours, the San Joaquin County Department of Environmental Resources <br />shall be notified at (209) 571-5032. <br />Persons allowed to authorize the aforementioned work are: <br />Station Operator: <br />(209) <br />Station Owner: SHELL OIL COMPANY <br />(916) 481-0400 <br />24 HOUR RESPONSE PERSON: _(209) <br />PND0412/8721503 <br />Engl <br />
