The L6 87 product-2 (south) tank annular sensor was found installed in a way which did not assure
that it was located at the bottom of the tank annular space to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity.
The sensor was pushed under the tank with a metal cord. To assure that the sensor is located directly
under the tank the following should be installed: a pull cord which wraps around the entire tank. A
qualified technician installed the pull cord during today's inspection. Violation resolved.
311. The 91 product line leak detector failed to detect a leak when tested. All line leak detectors shall be
capable of detecting a 3-gallon per hour leak at 10 psi. Immediately have a properly licensed, trained,
and certified contractor repair or replace the failed leak detector (LG 113-x listed, if applicable) and
obtain a retrofit permit within one business day from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department. If the failed leak detector can't be replaced immediately, there is a possibility that the 91
product UST system may be red tagged to prevent fuel inputs.
ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
inspedor Recei By: Title:
1" c
EHD 2302 ev 04/19/12 Page 3 UST INSPECTION REPORT
