E <br />VatIMFMI <br />E <br />FL?WLJJfLJT'f <br />California Department of Highway Patrol <br />3330 North Ad Art Road, Stockton, California 95212 <br />General Envirom-nental Management Services (GEMS) has prepared this workplan for the <br />San Joaquin County Department of Public Health, Division of Environmental Health <br />(SJCDEH) to present site specific procedures for the installation of one 12,000 gallon <br />UST. The installation of the underground storage tank will be in accordance with EPA 40 <br />CFR Parts 280 and 281, "Underground Storage Tanks; Technical Requirements and State <br />Program Approval; Final Rules", September 23, 1988, American Petroleum Institute <br />(API) publications 1604 and 163 1, California Health & Safety Code (CHSC) Chapter 6.7, <br />California Code of Regulations (CCR) Titles 22 & 23, and the Regional Board Staff <br />Recommendations and local regulations, as required. <br />1.1 Site Description <br />The California Highway Patrol (CBP) Facility is located at 3330 North Ad Art <br />Road, Stockton, California (see attached Drawings for location map). The facility <br />is an Area Office with service yard for CHP vehicles. The site is fenced and <br />covered with asphalt. The fuel dispenser, concrete island, underground storage <br />tank, product containing piping, and approximately 60% of the concrete drive slab <br />has been removed by others. <br />"11100LIKOU <br />The project scope of work is to install a new underground fuel storage and <br />dispensing system at the CHP facility located at 3330 North Ad Art Road, <br />Stockton, California. <br />2.1 Site Preparation <br />Prior to commencement of operations, the following will be provided or <br />completed: <br />• File <br />••r. all permits. <br />• Locate and identify above ground and underground utilities and other potential <br />obstructions. <br />Review client's health and safety requirements and locate nearby emerge <br />medical facilities. <br />Review GEMS project specific health and safety compliance documents.1 <br />
