Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br />commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br />3. Contact Elianna Florido at (209) 468-0343 to arrange the following inspection appointments (a <br />48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). <br />a. Removal of tank and any applicable piping <br />b. Verification that tank is cleaned to Title 22 CCR 67383.3(e)(2) standards <br />c. Witness soil and/or water sampling <br />d. Verification of Tank ID numbers marked on the UST <br />4. If the removed backfill material and soil is found to be contaminated it must be disposed of at <br />an approved disposal location. Treatment of soil onsite can only be performed under a <br />hazardous waste treatment permit. A work plan and fees must be submitted to the EHD Site <br />Mitigation Unit and the work plan must be approved before initiating any assessment or <br />remediation activities. <br />5. Inert the UST with dry ice after triple rinsing at the 20 -pounds of dry ice per 1,000 -gallon <br />volume ratio; be aware, additional testing/monitoring to ensure the tank remains inerted may be <br />required. <br />1868 E.
