Fremont St., Stockton Inspection Aug2, 2013 <br />Name: Address: Date: g <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR -Notice to Comply) <br />ROUTINE ANNUAL INSPECTION AND MONITORING SYSTEM CERTIFICATION <br />Class II violations: (117, 305, 310) <br />117. The C1 87 master fill sump sensor was replaced on June 30, 2013 and a permit was not obtained <br />from the EHD. Emergency repairs relating to UST system monitoring and release detection may be <br />performed by a properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor pursuant to the EHD's policy and a <br />permit obtained within one business day from the EHD. All other repairs must have a permit submitted <br />to and approved by the EHD prior to beginning work. Immediately obtain a permit from the EHD for the <br />sensor replacement. A "Failure to Obtain a Permit" penalty applies. <br />305. The 87 siphon fill sump sensor failed to activate an audible and visual alarm when tested to <br />ensure continuous monitoring of the tank system. All monitoring equipment shall be maintained to <br />activate an audible and visual alarm or stop the flow of product at the dispenser when it detects a leak. <br />The sensor was replaced and retested during the inspection. <br />310. A small amount of dark liquid was observed in the UDC 3/4 sump. If water could enter into the <br />secondary containment by precipitation or infiltration, it must be removed and disposed of properly. The <br />liquid was removed at the time of inspection. Ensure that the UDC sumps are maintained free of liquid. <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification to the EHD by September 22, <br />2013, along with a statement documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each <br />violation, and any supporting paperwork. <br />Note: The position sensor on the 87 master STP sump sensor was not shutting down the turbine.
