Fremont <br />Stockton, California <br />Dear Mr. Jackson: <br />REC)F#VgF0 <br />JUL 12 2004 <br />ENVIRONMENT HETH <br />PERMIT/SERVICES <br />Via UPS <br />Tracking # 1Z E68 94122 1108 839 2 <br />This letter responds to the Program Inspection Reports by the San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department (EHD), dated June 18, 2004, for the ARCO facility <br />identified above. The June 18, 2004 report is an amended report for the EHD inspection <br />conducted at the same facility on June 11, 2004. <br />1. Alleged Violation: The UST Program Inspection Report stated, "No continuous <br />monitoring for the premium unleaded tank." In the corresponding Violation checklist, a <br />check was placed next to "CCR 2636(1)(1) Continuous monitoring system for <br />underground piping." <br />Response: As acknowledged in the Inspection Report, BP West Coast Products LLC <br />(BP) had its contractor, Elite IV, perform the necessary repairs to the monitoring system. <br />The Inspection Report notes that the repairs were performed, "under permit and the <br />monitoring system was found (tested) to be functional (6/18/04)." Enclosed with this <br />letter are copies of the work acknowledgement form and corresponding test results. <br />The June 11, 2004 Inspection Report had also alleged an additional violation relating to <br />the fill buckets. During your June 18, 2004 re -inspection of the facility, it was confirmed <br />
