ARTICLE 3, SECTION 2633/2634 <br />MOTOR VEHICLE FUELS ONLY <br />CONSTRUCTION <br />1. Requirements, <br />A. Approved tank construction material <br />B. Leak interception and detection system which complies with Article 3, <br />Section 2631(c). <br />C. Membrane liners must comply with Article 3, Section 2633(e), (1), (2)9 <br />(3), (4),(S) and are only allowed for piping systems (Department Policy) <br />D. Demonstrate that the leak interception and detection systems protects <br />?round water from contamination (Article 3, Section 2633(f), (1), (2), (3), <br />4): (5), (6), (7). <br />E. Pressurized piping systems must be installed with a leak detector that is <br />capable of automatically shutting off the product pumps. <br />1. Any single wall component "tank or piping" requires daily inventory <br />reconci,lliation and annual precision tests as part of the monitoring <br />program. <br />F. Before covering, the tank(s) and system(s) must be tested to NFPA 30, <br />Standards. <br />G. Before use - the tank(s) and system(s) must be tested in accordance to <br />NFPA 329. <br />H. Provide soil profile of vadose zone if membrane liners are used. <br />ARTICLE 3, SECTION 2634 <br />MOTOR VEHICLE FUELS ONLY <br />MONITORING <br />1. <br />Requirements (leak interception and detection system(s)). <br />A. Floor must be constructed on a firm base and sloped to a collection sump. <br />B. Access casings must be installed in accordance to Article 3, Section <br />2634 (c) (1 thru 6), (d) (1). <br />C. Submit written monitoring and response plan as stated in Article 3, <br />Section 2634 (d) (1-3), 2634(e) (1-5). <br />D. Hard wiring of electronic monitoring systems is required. <br />E. Provide manufacturer's written installation instructions. <br />
