OBEAUDREAU 500 SERIES BEAUDREAU ELECTRONICS INC. MONITORING SYSTEM The 500 Series Monitoring System provides gasoline dispensers and under -dispenser containment with continuous leak detection connected to an audible and visual alarm panel inside the station. The Model 500 Controller works with any of Beaudreau's sump sensors (and patented dispenser impact sensor) and can transmit alarm status over existing AC power lines. As a result, there is ooac� no need to run new wiring or conduit fl = • to the dispensers. Upon detecting an - • alarm condition, the system will trans- • mit alarm status (fuel, water or impact) to the Model 522 Monitor.�� The Model 522 Monitor will provide s the station operator with an audible _ and visual alarm and can also be programmed to shut down the dispensers and/or submersible pumps. SYSTEM OPERATION Unlike other leak detection systems, all Beaudreau sensors are designed to connect directly to the dispenser or STP electrical junction box, eliminating the need for installing new conduit and pulling new wires. This allows sites with existing secondary containment to be easily upgraded with leak detection and reduces overall instal- lation costs. The 500 Series Controller can monitor up to three sensors and can send fuel, water or impact alarm signals across existing electrical wiring to the 522 Monitoring System located inside the station. The 522 Monitoring System will provide the station operator with a visual and audible alarm, can be programmed to shut down dispensers and submersible pumps and can also alert a third -party tank monitoring system of the alarm. As an additional safety feature, the 500 Series Controller can be used with the 500S Shear Valve Actuator to close product line shear valves in the case of a fuel leak.
