Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for any <br />applicable permits. <br />2. Any changes shall be submitted to EHD for approval prior to commencing work. All new addendums <br />supercede the previous ones. <br />3. All components must be certified by an independent testing organization and labeled as required by the <br />organization. (UL, ULC, ANSI, API, ASTM, etc. See California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 23 <br />Chapter 16 Table B for complete list). The component must bear the appropriate mark as required by the <br />independent testing organization. <br />4. All monitoring equipment must be approved and listed in the State Water Resources Control Board's Local <br />Guidance Letter 113:"List of Leak Detection Equipment and Methods for Underground Storage Tanks." <br />5. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an <br />individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the following: <br />a. One of several permissible valid, current contractor's licenses issued by the Contractors State <br />License Board (may be issued to the installation company), and <br />b. All valid, current California UST certificates issued by the International Code Council (ICC), that <br />are applicable to the work being performed, and <br />c. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) being tested, <br />repaired, or serviced. <br />6. Each person installing or testing any component must hold a certificate of training from the manufacturer <br />of that component. <br />7.
