CPT Controller Manual 04*REDJACKIET <br /> Step 3: Install the Intrinsic Safety Barrier (2-in. plug) in the <br /> contractor's box. <br /> r et <br /> r '.r <br /> FIGURE 3.12 /NTRINsic SAFETY BARRIER <br /> Step 4: In the contractor's box, wire-nut together the three wires <br /> extending out of the bottom of the Intrinsic Safety Barrier Cap to fhe <br /> shielded-cable wires as follows: <br /> Barrier Cap Wire Cable Wire <br /> red (+5 V) red <br /> green (psi signal) green <br /> black (ground) black <br /> Step 5: Attach the shielded cable drain wire to the ground lug on <br /> the bottom of the contractor's box. <br /> Step 6: Using a 3/4-in. to 2-in. adapter bushing, install the pressure <br /> transducer in the 2-in. mechanical leak detector port. <br /> Notice/ Alternatively,the pressure transducer can be installed <br /> on the product line, positioned in front of the ball <br /> valve. <br /> Step 7: Using the included Scotch-Cast Connector Kit, connect the <br /> three wires from the pressure transducer to the three wires from the <br /> top of the Safety Barrier Cap: <br /> 0 red to red, <br /> 0 green to green, and <br /> 0 black to black. <br /> For additional instructions, see "Sealing Wire Connections in <br /> Insulating Resin" later in this chapter. <br /> ARE260-240 Rev.A ♦ 6/87 3-15 Chapter 3: Installation <br />
