Suite 470 <br /> Portland, Oregon 97223 <br /> RE: Letter of September 23, 2002 concerning secondary containment testing <br /> requirements in San Joaquin County, California. <br /> I have read your proposal for testing and it appears that Southland Corp./7-Eleven will <br /> not be testing all the secondary piping. Testing of secondary piping is part of the <br /> Underground Tank System and must be tested. If this piping cannot be tested it must be <br /> replaced by December 31, 2002, CCR Title 23 Section 2637(a)(1),or the systerii taken <br /> out of service and placed in temporary closure under permit until the system can be <br /> replaced under a retrofit repair or installation permit issued by the Environmental Health <br /> Department(EHD).
