Orient clip so that the small <br />indented semicircle on the top of the chip is on the same end as the small notch painted <br />on the board above the socket (in this <br />example on the top) . Carefully align the chip pins over the socket how and gently push <br />the cls down until all the pins are in the socket holes. Then putt dawn frallyy and evenly <br />on the chip lentil it is down against the socket. Check to see that each of the pins is in is <br />socket. <br />Figure S.
