0 0 <br />evacuation shall be identified at the beginning of each day, based on current rent site and weather <br />conditions. <br />In the absence of qualified personnel, an emergency response service will be contracted to <br />control, stabilize and remediate as needed. <br />Recognition of and reaction to emergency conditions falls primarily on the Site Supervisor, but <br />is also the responsibility of all personnel on the job site. All personnel have the stated responsibility <br />of ensuring all work is performed in a safe and workman like manner, and have the authority to <br />cease activities until corrections can be made. Recognition and prevention of emergency situations <br />are covered in the "Code of Safe Practices". <br />CODE OF SAFE PRACTICES <br />Filhner Constriction, Inc. has established this Code of Safe Practices for all employees and site personnel to <br />follow during all work activities <br />1. Work shall be well planned and supervised to prevent injuries. <br />2. All injuries and accidents shall be reported unmediately to the supervisor and the Construction <br />Administrator. <br />3. Supervisors shall ensure that employees observe and obey every rule and regulation necessary to the <br />safe conduct of the work. <br />4. Any employee reporting for work who, in the opinion of their supervisor, is unable to perform <br />assigned duties in a safe and reasonable manner will not be allowed on the job. <br />5. alcoholic beverages or non -prescribed drugs are not allowed on Fillner Construction premises. <br />G. No employee shall be assigned a task without first having been instructed on proper methods of <br />carrying out the tasks. any employee who feels they have not received proper instruction shall notify <br />their supervisor prior to carrying out the task. <br />7. Where shall be no horseplay or practical joking on Fillner Construction's premises or job sites. <br />8. Employees shall wash hands, arms and face thoroughly after handling injurious or poisonous <br />chemicals and substances and follow all specialized instructions for specific substances or in the <br />event of an accidental exposure. Employees shall take particular care to wash thoroughly prior to <br />eating. <br />9. All posted safety signs shall be obeyed. <br />10. Smoking in undesignated areas is forbidden. Smoking shall not be permitted while working in <br />contaminated areas or when flammable liquids are present on the job site. <br />11. Highly flammable liquids, such as gasoline and solvents shall not be used for cleaning purposes. <br />12. When personnel are conducting hazardous operations, there shall be at least one other person on <br />duty in the immediate area for assistance in case of emergency. Hazardous operations .include, but <br />are not limited to, excavating and trenching, confined space entry and street work. <br />13.
