Service and Repair Replacing the Check Valve Assembly <br />Replacing the Check Valve ,assembly <br />�. <br />CE) <br />WARNING! Disconnect, lock out, and tag power at the panel before servicing the pump. <br />When servicing equipment, use non -sparking tools and use caution when removing or installing <br />equipment to avoid generating a spark. <br />NOTE: Close the ball valve in the discharge fine if it has been installed. <br />NOTE: Care should be taken to insure that the internal portions of the vent line and check valve assembly are <br />clean and free of debris or contamination during servicing. <br />1. Relieve system pressure by removing the protective cover and then backing out the pressure adjustment <br />screw (see Figure 23). <br />2. Disassembly <br />a. Loosen or disconnect the lower vent line fitting. <br />b. Disconnect the upper vent line fitting. <br />c. Remove the four 112 inch hex bolts. <br />d.
