Yet, in the full size site plans and scope of work it states that miscellaneous piping will be
removed. Please clarify how will existing piping that is no longer used be managed. Whether removed or
abandoned in place, there is a specific procedure that must be followed. Provide clarification/details on the
method used.
Provide information and cut sheets for third party certification and that Ameron LCX piping is compatible with the
product to be conveyed in the UST tank/piping system.
For the VMI or red jacket line leak detectors specify which line leak detector will be installed on which tank.
Why are some of the turbines going to be abandoned in place. Why not remove them?
Why is the new oil water separator to be installed have an outlet to the storm drain system?Only rain should go
down the storm drain.A potential for liquid other than rain water not trapped by the oil water separator may reach
the storm drain system if the oil water separator is tied into the storm drain system.
Please specify which brand of penetration boot will be installed at which sump(s).
For the Ripon Pilot Facility, why is an additional oil water separator being installed when one already exists.
Aris Cacapit, REHs
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
600 E.
