California Water Service Co any <br /> Final Closure Report for Underground Storage Tank Removal <br /> 1602 E. Lafayette St., Stockton, CA <br /> The final soil sample, 14-FDN, was collected on January 10, 2012 through the building floor and <br /> under the building foundation. The results were non-detect for PCBs, VOCs, TPHg and TPHd. The <br /> Cd, Cr III, Cr VI, Pb, Ni, and Zn levels were significantly below the RSLs. <br /> 4.0 WASTE DISPOSAL <br /> Copies of the hazardous waste manifests for waste generated during the closure activites are <br /> provided in Appendix C. The residual tank contents were transported for disposal at a licensed <br /> TSDF, ECI in Richmond, CA. The tanks and associated piping were disposed of, also at ECI in <br /> Richmond, CA. All contaminated personal protective equipment (PPE), and other miscellaneous <br /> debris contaminated with oily residue were placed into bins for disposal at a licensed TSDF. <br /> 5.0 CONCLUSION <br /> The two (2) underground storage tanks at the Cal Water facility at 1602 E. Lafayette St., Stockton, <br /> CA have been closed in accordance with the Closure Permits and Work Plans. The tanks and <br /> associated piping were disposed of as hazardous waste with the exception of the three short <br /> segments of piping six to nine feet long that were closed in place by grouting under the building <br /> foundation. The confirmation sampling results indicate that no elevated levels of the constituents <br /> of concern are present, and no further action is required.
