Evaluation of Hydrocarbons January 29, 1991 <br /> Waterfront Redevelopment, Stockton, California AGS 39048-2 <br /> We understand from conversations with personnel of Unocal that the Unocal property was <br /> used as a bulk storage plant. No additional information on the tanks that were at the site <br /> is available to Applied GeoSystems. Information supplied to Applied GeoSystems from the <br /> City of Stockton regarding the Morton Paint parcel indicates the site was used as a retail <br /> store and warehouse and also for paint manufacturing and bulk chemical products storage. <br /> We understand approximately 10 underground storage tanks were previously at the site. We <br /> 1 <br /> have no information regarding the contents of these tanks. It is our further understanding, <br /> based on information supplied by the City of Stockton, that one 2,000-gallon underground <br /> fuel storage tank may be located on the individually-owned property. Information provided <br /> by personnel of the City of Stockton Redevelopment Agency indicates that the neighboring <br /> parcel on the western boundary of the former Unocal bulk plant was formerly occupied by <br /> L & M Petroleum. Six aboveground storage tanks ranging in size from 13,200 gallons to <br /> 108,000 gallons and seven underground storage tanks ranging in size from 7,500 gallons to <br /> 20,000 gallons were formerly present on the L & M property. According to the title report <br /> for the L & M Petroleum Property provided by the City of. Stockton, Chevron U.S.A. <br /> acquired a subsurface oil and gas lease on the parcel in 1980. <br /> - 3 <br /> Applied GeoSystems <br />
