WORK PLAN FOR ADDITIONAL SOIL VAPOR SURVEY
REPORTING
May 30, 2014
4.0 REPORTING
Upon completion of field activities and receipt of analytical results, a report will be
prepared and submitted electronically in PDF to the RWQCB-CVR. The report will
document Stantec's methodologies used for data collection and will include tabulated
analytical data. The data obtained from the soil gas survey will be compared to
applicable screening levels described in Stantec's Vapor Intrusion Contingency Plan to
assist evaluating the potential for vapor intrusion in indoor air. Site maps, boring logs,
vapor probe completion details, subsurface contaminant distribution maps, professional
survey information, and certified analytical reports will be included in the report which
will be uploaded to the SWRCB Geotracker database. Preparation for field activities
will commence following approval of this work plan. The site assessment field activities
can commence within approximately four weeks following work plan approval, to allow
for scheduling and utility clearance. It should be noted that vapor samples are not
recommended to be collected following rainfall events. At a minimum of three days
prior to conducting fieldwork, the RWQCB will be notified to allow for field visits, if
desired. A final assessment report will be submitted within approximately 60 calendar
days following completion of the abovementioned field activities.
4.12
