S E C O R
• • UPSV-2: TPHg
• UPSV-3: TPHg
• UPSV-6: TPHg
As shown in Table 26 analyte concentrations did not increase in any UPSV wells between the
fourth quarter 2007 sampling event and February 15, 2008:
As shown in Table 26, TPHg has historically decreased in wells UPSV-1, UPSV-2, and UPSV-6
since the first sampling event in July 2005. Additionally, benzene and ethylbenzene show a
general decreasing trend in well UPSV-6 (Figure 24). There have been no other apparent trends
associated with reported concentrations in the UPSV wells.
6.2.4 QA/QC-Samples and General Laboratory Notes
Duplicate samples APSV-10-D and UPSV-2D were collected from two soil vapor points
(APSV-10 and UPSV-2) during the first quarter 2008 sampling event. A comparison of the
samples is shown below.
6.2.4.1 First Quarter 2008; February 15, 2008
Analyte Sample # Sample # % Difference
APSV-10 APSV-10-D
TPHg mV 208 222 (+/-) 6.5
• Benzene mV <0.03 <0.03 0%
Toluene mV 0.06 0.06 0%
Eth (benzene mV <0.02 <0.02 0%
Total Xylenes m 0.05 0.07 (+/-) 33%
Methane pmV <1,000 <1,000 0%
Note:ppmV-Parts per million by volume.
Sample # Sample #
Analyte IX Difference
UPSV-2 ..UPSV-2D
TPH mV 7 6 (+/-) 15%
Benzene (ppmV) <0.03 <0.03 0%
Toluene mV <0.05 <0.05 0%
Ethylbenzene (ppmV) <0.02 <0.02 0%
Total Xylenes mV <0.02 <0.02 0%
Methane ppmV <1,000 <1,000 0%
Note:ppmV-Parts per million by volume.
Trip blanks did not contain analytes at or above laboratory reporting limits.
6.2.5 Conclusions and Recommendations
• Reported TPHg concentrations ranged from non detect (less than 2.4 ppmv) in wells APSV-3,
APSV-6, APSV-7 APSV-8, UPSV-1 and UPSV-6 to 269 ppmv in well APSV-9 during the
1QO8QSSRQRSRQMR.Final.doc 31 April 30,2008
777W.26397.42.1307
