Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report - First Quarter 2016
L&M Operable Unit- West Weber Avenue and North Lincoln Street, Stockton, CA
April 29, 2016
B-Zone wells MW-43, MW-48, MW-49, and MW-50 historically contain sheen or a measurable SPH
thickness, but due to the product skimmers in these wells, they were not measured during the
1 Q 16 event.
C-Zone:
During 1 Q16, measurable SPH or SPH-sheen was not observed in any C-Zone wells.
D-Zone:
During 1 Q16, measurable SPH or SPH-sheen was not observed in any D-Zone wells.
A summary of 1 Q16 SPH sheen is provided in the following table.
Well Aquifer Zone SPH Thickness
Identification 1Q16 (Feet)
2AMW-13 A Sheen
2AMW-14 A NA
MW-43 B NA
MW-47 B Sheen
MW-48 B NA
MW-49 B NA
MW-50 B NA
MW-52 B 0.04
NA=Not Assessed due to a sock or skimmer in monitoring well;SPH or sheen is likely present.
2.2.4 Quality Assurance and Quality Control for Groundwater Samples
Three field technicians from G-R conducted the 1 Q16 M&S event over the course of three days.
A total of 7 equipment blanks were collected, one for each tech for each day, and analyzed for
the presence of petroleum hydrocarbons compounds. All constituents were reported as below
laboratory reporting limit (LRL). No cross-contamination is suspected to have occurred during
the 1 Q16 event.
Analytical data from the 1Q16 groundwater sampling event were quality assured and quality
controlled (QA/QC) using Stantec Lab Validation Form. The following validation notes are
consistent with the quality assurance and quality control. Each set of issues corresponds directly
with the denoted report (Appendix E).
Laboratory Validation, report number 1259724
• For method blank 281359 and associated samples (MW-69 through MW-74 and 2A-MW-12 and
5 Stantec 7
