<br /> M m ^, o ,� environment.Hazardous wastes can be liquids,solids,gases,or sludges.They can be
<br /> fD �'m m ro O A• N Manu actudnmmercial products,like cleaning Fluids or pesticides,or the byproducts of
<br /> ut 3 y g Processes.We carry these types of products throughout our stores for sale to our
<br /> E O A\ customers.They became hazardous when they are damaged,used,discarded,recalled or
<br /> .3. iY returned and can no longer be used for its intended purpose.
<br /> ^ When defining if waste is hazardous we need to look at its characteristics. Is it:
<br /> -p ® Ignitable–Can easily catch on fire and sustain combustions.Can be liquids,gas or
<br /> O le solid. Examples are lighter fluid,charcoal,rubbing alcohol,nail polish,nail polish
<br /> = n O O ID C remover,motor oil,etc.
<br /> O T no A q ^ Reactive–Readily explode or undergo violent reactions.Examples are pool chemical,
<br /> n p m m r•F i/• chlorine,hair colors,bleach,hydrogen peroxide,etc.
<br /> N ?� .DCorrosive–Acidic or alkaline wastes that can readily corrode or dissolve materials they
<br /> p .C• come into contact with.Examples are drain,leaner,ammonia,lime/scale removers,etc.
<br /> 57 x Toxic–Cause deleterious health or environ.nental effects.Examples are soaps,
<br /> m fertilizers,batteries,insect repellant,cosmetics,etc.

<br /> 1.Electronic devices:Includes any electronic device that is a hazardous waste(with or
<br /> (D 0 rD 0� without a Cathode Ray Tube(CRT)),including televisions,computer monitors,cell
<br /> phones,VCRs,computer CPUs and portable DVD players.
<br /> 3 0 d u, no C 2.Batteries:Most household-type batteries,including rechargeable nickel-cadmium
<br /> o PD batteries,silver button batteries,mercury batteries,alkaline batteries and other batteries

<br /> N 3.Electric lamps:Fluorescent tubes and bulbs,high intensity discharge lamps,sodium
