The containers <br /> were: <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of used oil &fuel filters was observed in the shop without an accumulation start <br /> date. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of oily solids was observed in the shop without a hazardous waste label. <br /> -One blue metal 55 gallon drum of used oil and fuel filters was observed in the hazardous waste storage area <br /> without an accumulation start date. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of oily solids was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without an <br /> accumulation start date. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of used oil and fuel filters was observed in the hazardous waste storage area <br /> without the words"Hazardous Waste", generator name&address, accumulation start date, physical state and <br /> hazardous properties. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of waste gasoline was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without <br /> generator name&address and an accumulation start date. <br /> -One black metal 55 gallon drum of used oil &fuel filters was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without <br /> physical state and hazardous properties. <br /> -One white plastic tote of used antifreeze was observed in the hazardous waste storage area without generator <br /> name&address and an accumulation start date. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 1/3/2020. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
