ORDERED CHINESE <br /> FRIED CHICKEN AT 9:30 PM ON MARCH 31,2018.THE NEXT DAY, COMPLAINANT HAD SYMPTOMS OF VOMITING, <br /> STOMACH PAIN AND DIARRHEA. COMPLAINANT WENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM ON 4/5/2018. STOOL <br /> SAMPLES CAME BACK POSITIVE FOR SALMONELLA. MANAGER WAS INFORMED. THEY SAID THE MEAT WAS <br /> FULLY COOKED. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br /> OBSERVATIONS:There is no paper towel dispenser at the handwash sink in the kitchen.A roll of paper towels are being <br /> provided.The hand soap dispenser is in disrepair. It does not function all the time. Provide a paper towel dispenser and <br /> repair soap dispenser by today. Some soda kegs being stored under the sink, not completely obstructing the sink yet. <br /> Maintain the hand washing sink accessible at all times. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br /> maintained in good repair. (113953.2) Adequate facilities shall be provided for hand washing,food preparation and the washing of <br /> utensils and equipment. (113953, 113953.1, 114067(0) <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Spoke with the owner and informed him about the complaint. He stated some one did bring up a concern about the chicken <br /> being raw in the center, but it was determined the chicken was not raw. <br /> No employees have traveled outside the country. No employees have reported being ill within 2 weeks. No employees work at <br /> other healthcare,food, daycare facilities.All employees have food handlers cards on file. Utensil washing facilities provided <br /> and functional. Restrooms handwash facilities,with hot and cold water,functional. Refrigeration units are maintaining required <br /> temperatures. <br /> The chicken for the dish in question is received every 3 days, refrigerated and placed in the walk in cooler, currently at 34 F. <br /> The chicken is baked at 375 F to 165 F or more cooled and placed back in into the walk in cooler.The chicken fried to order <br /> at 370 F for 6 to 8 minutes. Fryer oil currently at 370 F.The dish contains chicken, a dinner roll and kim chi.
