SAN JDANIN <br />COUNTY <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Facility Name: <br />Facility Address: <br />Date: <br />WESCO GRAPHICS <br />410 E GRANT LINE RD TRACY <br />August 01 2019 <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />Item # <br />Remarks <br />704 <br />CCR 66273.33(b) UW handler failed to properly manage universal waste lamps. <br />The following were observed near employee break room: <br />- One container with approximately 40 fluorescent light bulbs observed in a non -secure container. <br />- One container with approximately 10 fluorescent light bulbs observed in a non -secure container found outside the <br />employee break room. <br />- Approximately 20 fluorescent light bulbs observed not containerized. <br />Note: <br />Owner, Jim, states that he has been trying to have them taken to Household Hazardous Waste Facility in Stockton. <br />He calls and tries to set an appointment with them, but never gets a call back. Owner also states that the amount of <br />fluorescent lamps were acquired after a recent changing of lights within the facility. <br />Universal waste lamps shall be stored in a manner that prevents breakage and release to the environment. <br />Immediately store all universal waste lamps in a manner that prevents breakage and release to the environment. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br />712 <br />CCR 66273.34 UW handler (UWH) failed to label universal waste to identify type of universal waste. <br />The following were observed near employee break room: <br />- One container with approximately 40 fluorescent light bulbs observed in a non -secure container with no universal <br />waste label. <br />- One container with approximately 10 fluorescent light bulbs observed in a non -secure container with no universal <br />waste label found outside the employee break room. <br />- Approximately 20 fluorescent light bulbs observed not containerized and no universal waste label found outside the <br />employee break room. <br />- two boxes with fluorescent light bulbs observed with no universal waste label found outside the employee break <br />room. <br />Universal waste shall be marked with the words "Universal Waste" and the type of waste (batteries, mercury <br />containing equipment, lamps, electronic devices, CRTs, CRT glass).
