Summary DERAR I`WENT <br /> Applying paint in a defined pattern for consistent and even coverage on Tesla products. <br /> II. Primary Responsibilities <br /> 1. Perform all cleaning duties in department prior to start. <br /> A. Ensure that all other areas in the department is clean prior to starting to conveyor line. <br /> (Refer to daily cleaning requirements procedures for additional mandatory duties) <br /> 2. Check at production board to see what are the goals for the day and confirm with supervisor. <br /> 3. Mix necessary quantity of paint using the correct quantity of catalyst and reducer. (Refer to the <br /> mixing instruction procedure) <br /> 4. Determine which paint pot to use. If painting black, use the smaller pot. If painting silver,use <br /> the larger pot. <br /> 5. Paint parts in a defined pattern for a consistent and even coverage. Make sure that every part is <br /> painted consistently. Paint process should begin and end at the same place. <br /> 6. Inspect part once the part is completely painted. <br /> 7. At the end of shift,perform daily cleaning duties. <br /> A. Empty trash cans. <br /> B. Turn off compressed air and lighting in the paint booth. <br /> III.Additional Responsibilities <br /> 1. Operate within job safety guidelines. <br /> C. Wear all other safety equipment as needed. <br /> B. Overall noise,including music should not be louder than 87 decibels.(refer to hearing <br /> conservation program) <br /> 2. Performs other duties as assigned by management. <br /> IV. Knowledge and skill requirements <br /> 1. Basic reading,writing, and arithmetic skills required. <br /> A. In order to successfully mix paint, basic reading skills are required to understand what <br /> paint type is required and what the mix ratio is. <br /> B. Basic arithmetic skills are required to determine the quantity breakdown for paint, <br /> reducer and/or catalyst. <br /> C.
