Monitor all large chemical sights on production floor including Tank Line, Water <br /> Treatment, and Phosphate Tanks, while maintaining a high level of safety and <br /> precaution; this includes wearing PPE at all times when working with chemicals. <br /> II. General Responsibilities: <br /> 1. Daily monitoring of phosphate tanks in conveyor line. <br /> A. Record in Dura Chem control chart <br /> B. Draining, Rinsing, and Refilling Rinse Water tanks according to schedule <br /> 2. Keep close watch of Chem Line tanks recording data in Daily Titration Sheet: <br /> A. Maintain close communication with Chem Line operators <br /> B. Monitoring and adjusting concentration, temperature and pH levels in all <br /> tanks <br /> 3. Correctly treat all water according to specific guidelines so that it may be disposed of <br /> through standard city waste. <br /> A. Separating solids out, adjusting pH levels, etc. <br /> B. Keep sample fiom every batch that has been disposed. <br /> 4. Keep close water or water conductivity. Record data for city water,D.I water&rinse <br /> water are required. <br /> III. Additional Responsibilities: <br /> 1. Help on Conveyor Line as needed. <br /> 2. Help on Chem Line as needed. <br /> 3. Maintain a clean lab area in Chem Line. <br /> 4. Alert Plant Foreman of low inventory items before they run out. <br /> 5. Keep all chemical sights clean and tidy to avoid incident. <br /> 6. Recycle acetone. <br /> IV. Qualifications <br /> 1. Basic reading,writing, and arithmetic skills required. <br /> A. Reading skills required to follow procedure for pH balancing and <br /> water treatment. <br /> B. Writing skills required to record data on necessary documents. <br /> C. Arithmetic skills required to balance and measure chemical and pH <br /> levels in tanks.. <br /> 2. Familiarity with volatile chem.icals..and proper_.s.afety.guidelines..when_dealing_with __.__.___ ..______________— <br /> them. Wearing PPE when working with volatile chemicals. <br /> 3.
