The contingency plan was updated at the time <br /> of inspection. <br /> Discussed the proper waste handling, storage, and disposal of lead acid battery spills and metal fines with Mr. Torr <br /> Hightower. <br /> The facility generated 500 gallons of used oil in June 2015 so far and is a large quantity generator at the time of <br /> inspection. According to disposal records and statements from Mr. Bischofberger, the facility is a large generator <br /> for approximately 3-4 months a year. The facility generated 13.28 tons of hazardous waste in 2014, and disposed <br /> of 5.69 tons of hazardous waste from January 1 to June 2, 2015. The facility is being placed in a higher permit <br /> category (5-25 tons/year). This may result in increased permit fees. <br /> Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br /> online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
