As a DEA,you must ensure the Central Accumulation Area is set up properly to facilitate the segregation of waste into the <br /> red,yellow,and black zones respectively. <br /> 2.4 Black Zone <br /> THE BLACK ZONE <br /> • Used to store ignitable or <br /> corrosive waste <br /> • Ignitable wastes (e.g., PVC <br /> primer, gasoline, or solvent <br /> II , � <br /> waste) should be stored in the <br /> flammables storage cabinet <br /> • Corrosive wastes (e.g., bleach, <br /> concrete stain, and muriatic <br /> acid) should be stored outside <br /> and to the right of the cabinet <br /> Notes: <br /> The Black Zone and black buckets are used to store ignitable or corrosive waste.Ignitable wastes such as PVC primer, <br /> gasoline,or solvent waste should be contained in a black bucket,labeled,and stored in the flammables storage cabinet in <br /> the Central Accumulation Area. <br /> No other Facility Use materials may be stored in the flammables storage cabinet in the Central Accumulation Area.It must <br /> be designated for ignitable Hazardous Waste only. <br /> Corrosive wastes such as bleach,concrete stain,and muriatic acid should be placed in a black bucket,labeled,and stored <br /> outside and to the right of the flammables cabinet beneath the Black Zone sign. <br /> Published by Articulate® Storyline www.articulate.com <br />
