Site Investigation and No Further Action Request RepoilTa1w R&L Diesel Services, Project#051111 _ _� $Inca 1934 2.4.1 Sensitive Receptors In accordance with Section 2654(b)(2), Article 51 Chapter 16, Division 3, Title 23 of the California Code of Regulations, a sensitive receptor survey was conducted for the site vicinity and within 2,000-feet of the site. To comply with this directive, Taber reviewed water well F, completion reports at the DWR, contacted local water purveyors, and toured the site vicinity. DWR records provided sixty-seven (67) well logs comprised of domestic and monitoring wells, all of which were outside of the 2,000-foot radius As reported by Ali Gharegozloo, Senior Civil Engineer, City of Stockton Technical Services, no Public Water Supply (PWS)wells are located within a 2,000-foot radius of the site. As reported by Mr. Eric Mar, Production Superintendent for Cal-Water, no PWS wells are locat d within a 2,000-foot radius of the site. However, the Cal-Water well at Station 770-1, located it 3130 West Lane at the southeast corner of the West Land and East Alpine Avenue inter,ection, is just north of the 2,000-foot radius. As reported by Mr. Ben Guzman, Assistant Superintendent, County of San Joaquin Utilities Maintenance, Department of Public Works, no ounty PWS wells are located within a 2,000-foot radius of the site. i On September 30, 2008, Taber toured the site icinity to locate private and public water supply wells. The tour included walking the area within at least 500 feet of the site, and driving throughout the remaining 2,000-foot site vicinity radius. The area surrounding the site is mostly ./ mixed residential and light commercial along West Lane. No lakes, reservoirs, or creeks are located withi a 1-mile radius of the site. However, the Stockton Diverting Canal is located approximately 1-mile north of the site. No schools are located within 2,000-feet of the site. Three da � � care facilities and ten Y hospitals or medical facilities are located within a one- ile radius of the site. No other potential sensitive receptors other than those previously noted were observed within the 2,000-foot site vicinity radius. Based on the results of the survey, none of the E' identified potential sensitive receptors appear to be thrE atened by contaminants present beneath the site. Fill t 5
