Site Investigation and No Further Action Request Repo
4i,111
R&L Diesel Services, Project#051111
Slrrce 1954
A sensitive receptor survey did not identify any potential sensitive receptors threatened by the
impacted soil present beneath the site.
As documented by the sensitive receptor survey, now ter supply wells used for municipal,
domestic, agriculture, industrial or other uses are located within 2000 ft. of the site.
It is likely, based on the results of the investigations at his site and the age of the release, that
background levels can be obtained in groundwater with a reasonable timeframe.
19. Provide a list of technical reports submitted for site assessment, corrective action,
confirmation sampling, and closure.
• Work Plan dated 28 January, 2005, to investigate the site at 2417 West Lane, Stockton,
CA.
• Work Plan Addendum dated 16 October, 2006, to secure a soil sample from under a
waste oil UST closed in place in April 1988, and to check for the presence of two
additional USTs on site.
• Report of Investigation dated 8 June 2007, for soil impacts beneath a UST closed in
place in 1988 and for the presence of two additional USTs on site.
• Work Plan dated 10 September, 2007, to investigate the extent of impacts adjacent to an
underground waste oil tank closed in place in A ril 1988.
• Site Assessment Report, Site Conceptual ModE I and Site Investigation Work Plan dated
July 30, 2008.
20. Provide any additional comments supporting site NAR.
Based on the information provided above showing that the groundwater sample collected
directly below the area of impacted soil detected only one constituent above laboratory
detection limits, with that constituent present at less than the PMCL, and that petroleum
hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons impacts in soil are relatively immobile, we believe
that the conditions currently existing at the site will not adversely impact water quality, human
health, the environment and safety, or other current and future beneficial uses of water, and we
request that the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department issue a "no further
action required letter"with respect to this site.
 11
