Under the small load operations,you are not allowed to transport the waste back to your <br /> location. It must be taken directly to an authorized facility. Therefore, the variance cannot be issued in this situation. <br /> The mobile maintenance operations under Health and Safety Code section 25250.12 allow you to have a point of <br /> consolidation at your location for used oil and does not require you to register as a transporter as long as you do not <br /> transport more than 55 gallons from off-site locations back to your location. The consolidated used oil would then be <br /> transported by a registered transporter(Safety Kleen in your situation)from your consolidation point to a permitted <br /> used oil recycling facility.
