Found generator in off. Checked control panel for any <br /> active alarms. -found none. Checked all levels, connections, block heater, plugs, wires, belts, hoses, and battery. Check and <br /> pressure test radiator.-ok. Replace battery-per quote due to age and weakness. Test ran generator- no load-check for leaks <br /> and output voltage.-ok! Turn off- perform pm service-change oil, oil filter.Test ran again-check for leaks and output voltage. <br /> Generator perormed as it should with no problems. Called to find out why unit was in off. Customer states that unit would <br /> not shut down when transfer test was performed and had to be shut down manually and transferred back manually. Exercise <br /> clock has already been replaced but problem remains. Futher diagnoses needs to be done on transfer switch and in the <br /> meantime I was instructed to leave in off position. <br /> Recommendations <br /> Futher diagnoses needs to be done on transfer switch regarding generator no transferring back and therefore unable to shut <br /> itself down. <br />
