The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for JAAS AUTO SERVICE as of July02, 2020. <br /> Open violations from November 30, 2018 inspection <br /> Violation #122 - Failed to submit a written response within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br /> An inspection was last done on 8/2/2016 and an inspection report was issued identifying information to be submitted <br /> to bring this site into compliance. This information was required to be submitted by 9/1/2016. This information has <br /> not been received resulting in a non-compliant status for this facility. An operator that receives an inspection report <br /> shall have 30 days to submit a written response that includes a statement documenting corrective actions taken or <br /> proposing corrective actions which will be taken. Ensure that a written response documenting corrective actions <br /> taken or proposed is submitted within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#207 - Failure to properly manage reusable soiled textile materials. <br /> Receipts for the soiled rags for the last three years were not available for review during the inspection. The receipts <br /> for laundered rags are required to be kept for three years. Please provide some copies of the 2018 records to the <br /> EHD for review. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation #301 -Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> According to Sopheak San, the metal shavings are added to the absorbent drum. Metal shavings were observed <br /> pooling on the floor and on the equipment. Sopheak San said that his waste needed to be picked up and that all of <br /> his containers were getting full. Several 5 gallon buckets filled with paper oil filters (overfilled)were observed in the <br /> used oil tank area. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or <br /> release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment <br /> Immediately clean the metal shavings area, and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. In <br /> addition, properly secure the paper oil filters to prevent a release.
