A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, <br /> store,dispose of,transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without a hazardous waste ID number. Go <br /> to the DTSC web site https://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/to reactivate the ID number. <br /> Immediately reactivate your ID number and submit evidence to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 113 HSC 25160.2(b)(3) Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. <br /> Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for July 2016 to July 2019 were not found on site. Hazardous waste <br /> generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a <br /> consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. Immediately <br /> locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the <br /> EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 120 HSC 25404.1.2 Failed to submit a certification and written response within 30 days for minor violations. <br /> An inspection was last done on 2/2/2016 and an inspection report was issued identifying information to be submitted <br /> to bring this site into compliance. This information was required to be submitted by 3/3/2016. This information has <br /> not been received resulting in a non-compliant status for this facility. An operator that receives an inspection report <br /> shall have 30 days to submit a written response that includes a statement documenting corrective actions taken or <br /> proposing corrective actions which will be taken. Ensure that a written response documenting corrective actions <br /> taken or proposed is submitted within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br /> Open violations from 2/2/2016 inspection: <br /> -Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years <br /> -Contaminated container not marked with date emptied or managed within one year <br /> -Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 406 CCR 66261.7 Contaminated container not marked with date emptied or managed within one year of being emptied. <br /> Three blue empty plastic 55 gallon drums and two black metal empty 55 gallon drums that previously held motor <br /> vehicle fluids were observed outside the shop without the word'empty'and a date. Containers larger than five <br /> gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed <br /> within one year of being emptied.
