INFUSION SMP <br /> What to Expect & Aftercare Instructions <br /> What to Expect After Your Procedure <br /> The healing process varies slightly from person to person. The following is considered normal: <br /> • Mild redness immediately following your procedure. <br /> •Slight tenderness or sensitivity of the scalp for 24-48 hours. <br /> • Mild dryness or tightness during healing. <br /> •The scalp may appear darker immediately after treatment and will gradually soften as it heals. <br /> • Minimal flaking may occur. Do not pick or scratch the treated area. <br /> • It is normal for the pigment to lighten slightly during healing. <br /> Aftercare Instructions <br /> Days 1-3 <br /> • Keep the treated area completely dry. <br /> • Do not wash your scalp. <br /> •Avoid touching, rubbing, or scratching the area. <br /> •Avoid excessive sweating, strenuous exercise, and direct sun exposure. <br /> Beginning Day 4 <br /> •Wash the scalp gently using the cleanser provided or a gentle fragrance-free cleanser. <br /> • Pat dry with a clean towel. <br /> •Apply a small amount of the recommended moisturizer. <br /> First 7 Days <br /> •Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, and prolonged sun exposure. <br /> •Avoid heavy exercise that causes excessive sweating. <br /> • Do not shave with a razor. <br /> •Clippers may be used after Day 4. <br /> Long-Term Care <br /> •Wear sunscreen or a hat during prolonged sun exposure. <br /> • Moisturize your scalp regularly. <br /> •Avoid harsh exfoliating products. <br /> • Maintenance touch-ups may be recommended every few years. <br /> Signs of Infection — Seek Medical Attention <br /> Seek medical attention immediately if you experience: <br /> • Increasing redness that spreads or worsens after the first few days. <br /> • Significant swelling that continues to increase. <br /> •Thick yellow or green drainage (pus). <br /> •A foul odor from the treated area. <br /> • Increasing pain,warmth, or tenderness. <br /> • Fever or chills. <br /> • Red streaks extending away from the treated area. <br /> •Any other symptoms that concern you or appear abnormal. <br /> Do not attempt to treat a suspected infection yourself. Seek prompt medical attention and notify <br /> Infusion SMP. <br />
