PERMANENT MAKEUP HEALING SCHEDULES LIPS: Day 1: Swelling,tender,heavy thick lipstick look. Day 2: Slight swelling,reddish and tender. Day 3: Less swelling,thicker texture. Day 4: Exfoliation (peeling skin)begins. Very chapped Lips. Day 5: Very chapped,but almost finished with first"Chappy"stage. Day 6: A soft,rich color begins to appear. Day 7-13: Lip color disappears and the"Frosty"(second"Chappy"stage) occurs. Day 14: Color"Blooms"from within more and more each day until day 21 (3 weeks post procedure). Day 21: Healing complete. The color you see is the enhanced color you now have. Your lips will remain a bit dry for a month or two. Use a good lip balm as your lips return to normal texture. Note: Healing takes at least 2 months! Lip re-touch appointments will be made after 2 month period. EYELINER Day 1: Eyelids swollen,with a heavier than usual eye makeup appearance. Day 2: Eyelids swollen,usually for only a few hours after waking up,with the heavier eye makeup look continuing. Day 3: Swelling decreases with a tight feeling on lids. Pigment begins lifting away from skin. Day 4: Some itching is normal as the skin begins to flake. DO NOT PICK AT IT! Day 5: Blinking movements of the eye usually remove all the pigment by this day. Makeup color is somewhat grayish and will take a few more days to clarify to full color. EYEBROWS After the procedure,don't be concerned thatyour eyebrows initially appear darker and heavier in size than you desire. This is all part of the process. Day 1: The eyebrows appear approximately 20-25%darker,and bolder in width than they will be when healed. Your skin is red under the pigment,which causes the color of the ink pigment to appear darker. There is some swelling,although this is difficult to see due to the texture of the skin in the eyebrow area. This swelling will subside. Day 2: Conditions remain the same. Day 3: Eyebrows start to itch as exfoliation(peeling of skin)begins. The brows appear a bit thicker in texture. Day 4: The skin begins to flake,peeling from the outside edges first. Exfoliation will cause the excess pigment surrounding the eyebrow procedure to flake away and the eyebrows will begin to appear more narrow. Day 5: Color finishes flaking off. New skin continues healing over the pigmented area and results in a softer and grayer appearance to your eyebrows. Day 6-10: Color clarifies during this period and eyebrows gradually appear more and more normal. NOTE: Permanent makeup procedures are affected by the canvas(your skin)that they are performed on. If your skin is sun damaged (even from tanning beds),thick and uneven in texture, or excessively dry or oily,the result cannot be expected to be perfect after the initial procedure. Scars on the lips from fever blisters cause pigment removal. Lifestyle, medications, smoking, metabolism,facial surgery,and age of skin all contribute to fading. Touch-ups are needed and should be done no sooner than 30 days after your initial procedure to ensure the best results and to keep your permanent cosmetics looking the best. Procedure maintenance,as outlined in your pre/post procedure directions, is very important. IMPORTANT: If tattooed area has any of the following symptoms,seek medical attenton! This could be signs of an infection:excessive local swelling,redness,not healing after five(5)days,or evidence of pus.
