Personal Protective Equipment: (Ca. health and safety code 119308(a), 1193090)) <br /> Before preforming a procedure the practitioner puts on any protective equipment <br /> necessary to perform the procedure, and always wears disposable gloves. We <br /> do not preform body branding services at our facility. <br /> N. Handwashing Sink: (Ca. health and safety code 119314 (b) (3)) <br /> Each Handwashing Sink is located at the end of the procedure room, and is <br /> equipped with hot and cold running water, containerized liquid soap, single use <br /> paper towels that are dispensed from a wall-mounted touch less dispenser that is <br /> accessible to the practitioner. <br /> O. Aftercare Procedure: (Ca. health and safety code 119303 (4)and 119308 9b)) <br /> Our aftercare procedure includes detailed instructions for aftercare, including but <br /> not limited to what to expect following the procedure, suggested care, and <br /> medical complications that could occur. Information on the care of the procedure <br /> site, restrictions that should be avoided, signs of symptoms, signs of infections, <br /> that indicate the need to seek medical care. <br /> P. Procedure for an Accidental Spill: <br /> If used sharps are spilled from a sharps container, the following procedure <br /> should be followed: <br /> • Wear protective clothing <br /> • Gather up all spilled sharps using a dustpan and brush and put them into <br /> a sharps container <br /> • Dispose of protective clothing <br /> • Wash hands <br /> Q. Trash Receptacles and disposal of contaminated trash: (Ca. health and safety <br /> code 119311(a) and 119314 (d)) <br /> Each Procedure area and decontamination and sterilization areas have a lined <br /> waste containers for proper disposal of waste. Including disposable gloves, <br /> sleeves, paper towels used during decontamination, and any other disposable <br /> item used during a procedure. <br />
