Cross contamination prevention: <br /> Pre procedure- tattoo machines, clip cords, squeeze bottles will be <br /> covered with a plastic bag , arm rest, tables, chairs will be wrapped <br /> with plastic wrap. Barrier film will be used on power supply and <br /> lamp. Trays and counter will be covered with a medical bib. After <br /> the procedure all items that are not single use will be sprayed and <br /> cleaned with madacide until dry. <br /> Sharps containers: <br /> All sharps items will be placed into wall mounted sharps containers <br /> immediately after the procedure is completed, there will be one <br /> sharps container per procedure area and sterilization area, sharps <br /> waste will be removed by a licensed company once a year at <br /> minimum and more often if needed. <br /> Sharps disposal: <br /> Needles and needle bars as well as razors will be placed into wall <br /> mounted sharps containers immediately after the procedure is <br /> completed, there will be one sharps container per procedure area <br /> and sterilization area. <br />
