0 0 <br /> Care Of Your Tattoo <br /> Leave the bandage on for at least one hour. if the bandage sticks to <br /> the tattoo, soak with water and remove gently. <br /> After removing the bandage, wash the area gently with dial <br /> antibacterial soap and cool water. Repeat every 3-4 hours. <br /> DONOT RE-BANDAGE11! No tight clothing on the tattoo. <br /> Pat dry with a soft towel and let air dry for a few minutes. DO NOT <br /> PICK!!! Then apply a VERY thin coat of aquaphor ointment. DO NOT <br /> overload you tattoo with ointment! <br /> DO NOT soak tattoo in any type of water after first washing <br /> (especially in lakes, ponds, the ocean, pools, saunas, etc.) <br /> DO NOT expose tattoo to direct sunlight during healing time. DO <br /> NOT put sun tan lotion on your tattoo during healing time. <br /> Signs of infection that may need to be addressed by a doctor: <br /> redness, swelling, extreme tenderness of procedure site, red <br /> streaks going from procedure site to heart, elevated body <br /> temperature, or purulent drainage from the procedure site. <br /> Remember: SUN DESTROYS TATTOOS. After it heals, use high SPF <br /> sunscreen any time you are in the sun to keep it looking its best. <br />
