HEALT1� <br />MEMORANDUM g6JUL I?AMt!:44 <br />DATE: July 9, 1996 <br />TO: ALL DEPARTMENTS <br />FROM: DENNIS ALVAREZ, DISTRIBUTION MANAGER <br />RE: COLLECTION OF SHARPSCONTAINERS <br />CC: SAM QUILLENDIRINO, HOUSEKEEPING DIRECTOR <br />ED HAVEN, DIRECTOR MATERIEL MANAGEMENT <br />SANDRA DAVIS, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, NURSING SERVICES <br />On Monday, July 8, 1996 the collection of the sharpscontainers from all patient care <br />areas will be accomplished by Housekeeping staff. <br />In those areas where Distribution has Par levels we will stock an appropriate amount of <br />sharpscontainers for Housekeeping to use when changing and collecting these <br />containers. <br />It is requested that in those areas where Distribution does not have Par levels, that the <br />area acquire these sharpscontainers from Distribution for stock in those areas for use <br />by Housekeeping. The following are the item numbers and description for the <br />sharpscontainers: <br />Item # Description <br />212 Container, Wallsafe 2 gallon <br />206 Container, Sharps 2 gallon <br />207 Container, Sharps 3 gallon <br />209 Container, Sharps 8 gallon <br />Thank You. <br />
