This <br /> includes stretchers, wheelchairs, examining tables, etc. This is not necessary <br /> for equipment used on protective isolation cases. <br /> VISITING REGULATIONS <br /> A. In certain cases, suscehtibles, such as pregnant women, and to be discouraged <br /> from visiting with isolation patients (see approrriate section for listing of <br /> diseases and precautions. <br /> E. Visitors should be instructed that only disposable or easily cleaned items <br /> will be allowed in the isolation room. <br /> F, Cut flowers are not permitted in the rooms of patients on Mould and skin or <br /> protective isolation. <br /> NOTE: Any flexibility regarding these regulations is to be determined by the <br /> Director of Nurses under Doctor orders. <br /> CLEANING THE ISOLATION ROO''! <br /> A. Concurrent cleaning <br /> 1 . Concurrent (daily) cleaning is to be done according to facility procedures. <br /> 2. Housekeeping personnel are to don the attire indicated on the door. <br /> 3. The nurse should assist in instructing housekeeping personnel with any <br /> nuestions concerning attire, handwashing, etc. <br /> 4. Isolation room will be kept clean and tide at all times. <br />
