Deposit containers are returned to <br />the distributor or manufacturer. as Residue, last contained 12.5% <br />hypochlorite solution, corrosive material, UN 1791. Individual <br />carboys, pails, or drums containing 10 gallons or more of <br />hypochlorite solution are shipped as RQ 12.5% Hypochlorite <br />solution, corrosive material, UN 1791. Deposit containers <br />returned to distributor or manufacturer are shipped as Residue, <br />last contained 12.5% hypochlorite solution, corrosive material, <br />UN 1791. Some of the packaging used for shipping this product has <br />been approved by shipment under exemptions by the U.S. Department <br />of Transportation. In these cases the exemption number must <br />follow the UN number in the shipping description for both <br />original shipments and return shipments of deposit containers. <br />The exemption numbers are as follows: 2/i gallon corrugated <br />container DOT -E-7943, 4/1 gallon corrugated container -E-8966, <br />4/1 gallon deposit bottles and deposit plastic carrier <br />DOT -E-6614, deposit plastic drums DOT -E-6937. Bulk shipments are <br />shipped as RQ 12.5% Hypochlorite solution, corrosive material , <br />UN 1791. <br />A corrosive placard is required on all highway shipments of 12.%% <br />d� sodium hypochlorite in excess of 100 gallons. There are <br />additional placarding requirements for mixed loads of different <br />hazardous materials. Contact the manufacturer or distributor for <br />specific information. Each package must have a corrosive label <br />affixed thereon. All returned deposit containers must have <br />closures firmly affixed to the container openings.. <br />This MSDS has <br />Company.
