They will pick up weekly or as needed. <br />PROTOCOL FOR ALL L.F.M.G OFFICES <br />All infectious waste will be placed in red bags and transported to INFECTIOUS <br />WASTE CONTAINER. When Sharps container is full it will be sealed and placed <br />in infectious waste container. <br />All infectious waste will be placed in red bag and transported to INFECTIOUS <br />WASTE CONTAINER. This includes any body fluids or excretions. <br />NEEDLES AND SYRINGES: <br />Each exam room and procedure room will have a locked wall unit with disposable <br />sharps conatiner inside. When container is full it shoul be sealed and disposed <br />of in INFECTIOUS WASTE CONTAINER. Needles and syringes should NEVER be recapped. <br />Syringes/injections should be carried on tray from Medicine Area to patient. <br />After administering injection,...returnfcontaminated syringe to tray or drop in <br />Sharps container, NEVER LAY SYRINGE ON EXAM TABLE OR COUNTER.
