Biohazard bag does not meet the standard set forth in HSC 117630. <br />- Ensure that the biohazard bag is a red disposable film bag that is impervious to moisture and tear -resistant. Biohazard bags <br />shall be marked and certified by manufacturer as having passed the tests prescribed for tear resistance (ASTM D1922) and <br />impact resistance (ASTM D1709). HSC 117630 — Submit photo evidence of correction within 30 days. <br />25. Biohazard bag is not placed in a rigid container that is leak resistant, tightly lid, clean, in good repair and appropriately <br />labeled. <br />- Biohazardous waste shall be bagged and placed in a rigid container which is leak resistant, have tight -fitting cover, and be kept <br />clean and in good repair. Container shall be labeled with the words "Biohazardous Waste" or "BIOHAZARD" on the lid and on th <br />sides so as to be visible from any lateral direction. HSC 118280(c) — Biohazard containers in lab 1, 2, and 3 did not have labels <br />on all four sides. Submit photo evidence of correction within 30 days. <br />Notes: 1. Stericycle is the medical waste hauler. <br />2. Treatment and tracking records were available for review. <br />3.
