The only medical waste generated at Delta Health Care 's to the Community two facilities are sharps . These include lancets, capillary tubes, TB tine tests, and needles with syringes . 914 North Center Street, Stockton, CA 95202 , and 911 Industrial Way, Lodi , CA 95240 2 . The generated waste each month is approximately a I quart red puncture-proof plastic infectious waste container in Stockton and 1/2 quart or less at the Lodi clinic , per month . a) As a sharp is used , it is put directly into a 1 quart red plastic infectious waste container . Once the container is full , a heat sensitive tape is applied to the closed lid and it is autoclaved at a temperature of 250- F for one half hour . The date and temperature are documented in the log book.
