The exemption application is submitted for the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), Site 300, located on Corral Hollow Road in Tracy, California. LLNL Site 300 meets both requirements for the Limited Quantity Hauling Exemption and Small Quantity Generator Not Required To Register. Specifically, LLNL Site 300 meets the following Limited Quantity Hauling Exemption conditions: • Generates less than 20 lbs. of medical waste per week • Transports less than 20 lbs. of medical waste at any one time. The Small Quantity Generator Not Required To Register status has not changed since submission of the original certification statement in August 1992. Site 300 meets the following Small Quantity Generator Not Required To Register conditions: • Generates less than 200 lbs. per month of medical waste • Does not treat medical waste • Maintains an information document describing medical waste containment, storage, treatment, and disposal practices • Maintains records of medical waste transported offsite for treatment and disposal, including quantity of waste transported, date transported, and name of the registered hazardous waste hauler An Equal Opportunity Employer • University of California • P.O.
